A Special Invitation
On behalf of AMMI Canada and CACMID, we take this opportunity to invite you to attend our 2010 annual conference which will be held in Edmonton, Alberta from May 6 to 8. This meeting is again being supported by the AMMI Canada Secretariat under the direction of the program planning committees of AMMI Canada and CACMID. The overall schedule builds from the success of previous conferences and will include a selection of plenary sessions, industry symposia, oral presentations, poster sessions, exhibits, clinical vignettes, a trainees’ day, CCM Workshop and special lecture. In addition, the conference will host the many meetings of our associated organizations.
Edmonton, the capital of Alberta, is well known for its scenic river valley and is home to one of the largest shopping plazas in North America. Spring is an exciting time to visit Edmonton – warm days and cool evenings are perfect for you to enjoy the many sights and sounds of the city. The venue for this meeting is the Shaw Conference Centre (Edmonton) conveniently located within walking distance of the conference hotels.
We are confident that the AMMI Canada – CACMID Annual Conference 2010 in Edmonton will provide you with the opportunity to hear the latest information in the fields of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology and allow you the chance to reconnect with friends and colleagues. We encourage you to present your research by submitting abstracts for oral or poster presentations. If you are a student or trainee, there are a number of awards available to you.
