The mandate of this committee is to develop guidelines and position papers for AMMI Canada regarding the appropriate diagnosis and management of infectious diseases, and use of diagnostic testing and antimicrobial therapy in Canada through advocacy, expert consultation, networking and collaborative research in the broad field of infectious diseases as deemed appropriate by the Committee and as directed by Council.
